My name is Valentine Garnett (a.k.a. Brother Valentine/Friar Valentine). I am a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) and my primary location is the Shire of Abhainn Ciach Ghlais (Central, Pennsylvania), in the Kingdom of Æthelmearc, although I also have homes in the East Kingdom (South-central Pennsylvania) and the Kingdom of Atlantia (Washington, D.C.). It feels a bit “retro” to start a blog in 2025, but I think this might just be the thing to catalog the bits and bobs I want to share without committing them to a particular social media platform that may or may not be here after the next best thing comes along. I am afraid you will be disappointed if you are looking for a robust, busy blog with regular posts… this is more of a repository for me to use (and ignore) at my leisure.
